2014 Liverpool Away – Philippe Coutinho #10 S

The 2014–15 season was one of transition for Liverpool following the departure of Luis Suárez to Barcelona after their thrilling title challenge the previous year. Under Brendan Rodgers, the team struggled to replicate their attacking fluidity, with Philippe Coutinho emerging as one of the few creative sparks in an inconsistent side. Mario Balotelli, Rickie Lambert, and later Divock Origi were brought in to replace Suárez’s goals, but none could match his impact. Liverpool finished 6th in the Premier League, exited the Champions League in the group stage, and failed to win silverware, losing the FA Cup semi-final to Aston Villa. Coutinho, however, cemented his reputation as one of the league’s most skillful playmakers, producing several decisive goals and assists.
